COVID-19 Update from Nova Group, GBC

March 25, 2020

Dear Valued Customers and Partners,

In response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, cities and states around the country are issuing executive orders containing new standards on business closures and social distancing guidelines to combat the virus. While it differs from state to state, many are directing residents to stay home, except as needed to maintain continuity of operations of essential critical infrastructure. As such, Nova has been determined to be essential to the infrastructure on several support services, and have provided our key personnel with a letter to carry while traveling and performing work related functions.

Nova continues to advise all our employees to remain vigilant and practice appropriate hygiene and social distancing in addition to limiting any non-essential travel, eliminating face-to-face meetings, and permitting staff to work remotely from home.

Although these are unprecedented and challenging times for all organizations, only made more difficult by a constantly changing situation, we are committed to maintaining our business operations and ensuring that you continue to receive the highest quality service without disruption while also protecting the health and safety of our clients and team members.

We will continue to monitor the guidelines and recommendations of both the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as local authorities, and will keep you informed on any future changes.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your Nova Account Manager or Project Manager as you normally would.

Safe Regards,

Steve Cummings, CEO

Dear Valued Customers and Partners,

At Nova Group, GBC, the continued health and safety of our team members and clients are of the utmost concern to us. As such, our leadership is closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and following the guidelines and recommendations of both the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as local authorities.

As part of our commitment to serving our clients best interest, we have taken the following measures to protect the health and safety of both our clients and our employees as well as the continuity of our operations:

  • We have provided our team with the option to work from home to encourage the recommended social distancing.

  • We are limiting visits to a Nova office to only essential meetings or operations that can only be performed at that location.

  • We are encouraging all employees to limit any non-essential travel and consider tele-video calls rather than face-to-face meetings.

  • While we will continue our day to day operations such as site visits, we have asked our assessors to take additional safety precautions, including frequent hand-washing, maintaining practical social distances, and avoiding handshaking.

  • Video conferences, phone calls, and emails are preferred to face to face meetings for the foreseeable future.

Again, our top priorities are maintaining the health and safety of our employees and avoiding operational disruption, while continuing to provide the high-quality services and products in which you rely on from Nova Group.

As the situation evolves and new information becomes available, or we experience any changes that impact our ability to perform our work to meet our clients’ needs, we will provide updates. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your Nova contact or info@novagroupgbc.com with any questions or concerns.

As always, we appreciate your continued support and trust in our products and services during this difficult time.

Safe Regards,

The Nova Group, GBC Team
