We began in 2006 with the idea that a different kind of economy was not only possible, it was necessary – and that business could lead the way towards a new, stakeholder-driven model. We became known for certifying B Corporations™, which are companies that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
But we do much more than that. We’re building the B Corp movement to change our economic system – and to do so, we must change the rules of the game.
B Lab creates standards, policies, tools, and programs that shift the behavior, culture, and structure of capitalism. We mobilize the B Corp community towards collective action to address society’s most critical challenges.

Nova made the active decision that becoming a General Benefit Corporation (GBC) alone was not good enough.
We wanted an external review and verification that our daily actions, policies, and procedures aligned with our core values of people, property, and planet.
Commitment To Climate And The Environment
As part of our commitment as a Certified B Corp and strategy to combat climate change, Nova has committed to a Net-Zero Carbon 2030 Plan. This plan is in line with the values of the B Corp Community and the United Nations Global Compact, focusing on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
As part of our Net-Zero 2030 Plan, we're offering Carbon Neutral Due Diligence Assessments through Nova Group. This initiative underscores our proactive stance in addressing climate change and aligning our business practices with globally recognized sustainability frameworks.
