Job Description
ECAD Engineering, a Nova Group, GBC company, is in search of an experienced environmental/landfill engineer to work in our St. Paul office. The job will require working with our local office professionals to prepare landfill construction contract documents, pay request reviews, and landfill construction certification reports for regulatory approval. They may also work with other Nova professionals on environmental projects at other offices, or remotely from home at times.

The successful candidate will be honest and self-disciplined and want to work in a small office setting. They will be required to develop positive relationships with co-workers, clients, citizens, regulatory agencies, and contractors through tactful and effective communication. This job will also require occasional travel in Minnesota to help us meet consulting needs of our clients and for business development activities.
Desired Skills & Experience
​The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

BS in Civil or Geo-Engineering from an accredited college or university;

5-10 years of environmental/landfill engineering, or related engineering experience;

PE license in MN, or ability to obtain in 3-9 months;

Excellent ASTM soil classification skills, and testing knowledge;

Certified in Design of Construction SWPPP;
-
Civil 3D AutoCAD knowledge related to grading plans and piping layouts;

Good MS Office skills are required;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required;

Valid Driver’s License with an approved record is required;

Ability to work outdoors, walk through job sites with irregular terrain, and lift up to 30 pounds;

OSHA Safety Training.
