Zoning Group Lead

Job Description
We have outgrown our current model of outsourcing our zoning work so we are looking for the ideal candidate to lead our new internal Zoning Group.

The Zoning Lead at Nova Group, GBC will be responsible for end to end production of quality zoning reports, letters, and summaries for Nova Clients

Review site plans, surveys, zoning maps, building and zoning codes, etc. to verify compliance and create reports

Create a zoning database and Nova branded report model utilizing Nova proprietary and third-party software

Efficient and professional communications with US municipalities

Drive growth of zoning business opportunities within Nova by mentoring Nova field, sales, and marketing staff

Internal and external client management and communications

Flexible remote home office with some travel to corporate office as needed
Essential Experience and Attributes

5+ years of experience with end to end creation and review of commercial real estate zoning reports

Complete understanding of zoning maps, variances, fire and building code violations, restrictions, certificates of occupancy, and all other related matters

Experience contacting officials at US municipalities to secure all information required to create zoning requirements and reports

Ability to efficiently and quickly produce high volume of accurate zoning reports for multi-location projects

Capacity to set and meet deadlines with multiple simultaneous projects

Advanced knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office Suite) and hardware

Excellent time management, organizational, written, and verbal communications skills

Analytical and quantitative skills

Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) preferred
