Senior Project Managers (SPMs) at Nova Group, GBC manage the project workflow and report preparation to both Nova and our Client standards and deadlines. SPMs engage in project setup and assignment with our scheduling team, communication with Field Managers on project requirements, progress, schedule, technical review and close out of the project (invoice, shipping, etc). As technical reviewers, SPMs are responsible for the review and submittal of the PCNA report by the Field Manager, and resolution of outstanding report issues. They use their knowledge of the HUD MAP and LEAN Guidelines to ensure proper report documentation. Ultimately, our SPMs are accountable for the technical merit of the Nova reports delivered to our Clients. SPMs may also be asked to perform Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) as needed. Typical sites to be assessed would include commercial properties such as offices, warehouses, manufacturing sites and hotels.
Our Senior Project Managers are a core member of our project delivery and client relationship teams working with our field teams, Account and Sales Managers to ensure the quality of our deliverables to our clients, exceeding their expectations along the way.
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction-related field
10+ years’ experience conducting and/or managing ESAs
Experience in the management/review of related due diligence projects
Familiarity with ASTM E1527-13
Knowledge of building components, systems and cost estimating
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines
Strong technical writing skills and proven attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Current, valid state driver’s license (position requires a motor vehicle record background check)
Candidates with professional registrations preferred (PE, RA, etc.)
Experience conducting Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, HUD, and other specialty project scopes preferred
