Production Shipping Assistant

Corporate Headquarters - Minneapolis (St. Louis Park), MN

Full-Time: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST on site

Job Responsibilities


Partner with assigned project teams to successfully complete and manage the administrative and production aspects of projects; this includes the following:


Packing/Shipping Laboratory Samples/Supplies and Follow-up:

  • Order and manage sampling inventory from Accustar, EMSL, FedEx, Staples, etc.

  • Prepare and ship project supplies

  • Receive laboratory results via email, unlock results and upload them to online report and property tracking system

  • Advise team when laboratory results are received

  • Communicate with laboratories regarding project needs, status requests, or information requested by the laboratory

  • Inquire with the laboratory on ETA of results

  • Inquire with laboratory on needed COCs

  • Assist Radon Coordinator with additional sample preparation and shipping, as needed


Printing:

  • Order and manage print inventory from Staples, etc.

  • Print and ship requested hard copies of reports


Other duties, as assigned, in support of project team(s) and company production efforts.



Job Qualifications for Successful Candidates


  • Must be computer proficient – 90% of this position is managed using a computer

  • Must show ability to work with a sense of urgency and with a ‘client first’ attitude - including both internal and external clients

  • Must show interest in learning new tasks and new technologies

  • Must be comfortable and successful working with teams that are remote/virtual and of different work and personality styles and time zones

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook

  • Excellent time management, organizational, written and verbal communication skills

  • Capacity to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously/multi-task

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Overtime will occasionally be required at short notice (such as working through lunch, coming in early, or leaving late)


Compensation range: $18-21/hr DOQ
